Opening Saturday April 7th AT 6 pm WITH GUEST Speaker James L. Hayes, sculptor and lecturer at the CIT Crawford College of Art and Design

 

The gallery welcomes three recent graduates from CIT Crawford College of Art and Design. III features work from Isabel English, Liudmila Kalinka, and Klaudia Olszynska opening Saturday April 7th at 6 pm. The show will be opened by James L. Hayes, sculptor and lecturer at the CIT CCAD.

These individual artists have begun to establish themselves within the Irish arts network with a number of commendable achievements between them.

Liudmila has received a number of purchase awards, the CIT STEAM Exhibition Award, and is now based at Cork Printmakers. Klaudia received the Cíarán Langford memorial bursary award allowing her working space at Backwater Artist Group Studios, Cork. Isabel has shown at the RDS awards (one of thirteen exhibitors); Blackchurch Studios, Dublin; and James Barry Exhibition Centre, Cork; and is now based at the National Sculpture Factory, Cork City, where she received a studio bursary award.

Works will include print, sculpture and painting touching on topics which the artists have been developing throughout and continuing after their college education.
