Welcome to the MTU Art Collection, a dynamic and ever-growing collection of visual art that reflects the rich cultural heritage and artistic practice of students and graduates from the MTU Crawford College of Art & Design, alongside works from other artists associated with MTU. MTU Art Collection comprises over 600 works of art across broad categories of Painting, Photography, Print, Sculpture, Ceramic design, Textiles, mixed media, Moving Image, and Applied art.

Our collection serves as a valuable educational and cultural resource for our students, faculty, and the wider community. We invite you to explore our website to learn more about our collection, exhibitions, and events, and to visit MTU campusses in person to experience the power and beauty of art and design first hand. Collection works are also available to view onilne as a resource on the MTU Library website, under Special Collections. 

MTU Art Collection is managed by MTU Arts Office and includes the MTU Registrar’s Collection, Commissions, Works on Loan, and works acquired by other departments of MTU and Artist Gifts. The Collection continues from the CIT Art Collection, established to enhance the social, learning, and public spaces on campus while celebrating and supporting art graduates from Crawford College of Art & Design.
