Guitar Plus the senior guitar ensemble  from MTU Cork School of to Music and GuitaRIAM, the guitar ensemble of the RIAM, Dublin, are about to join forces once again for a concert on Leeside.

They performed a sold-out concert to standing ovations in the Whyte Recital Hall of RIAM, Dublin recently and now they're ready to bring it up a notch in the real capital!

Their Cork performance will take place in the Curtis Auditorium at the MTU Cork School of Music on Sunday afternoon next, 28 April at 3.30pm.

They will be performing an exciting programme of works including Bach's'Brandenburg Concerto No. 3', 'Carmen Suite' by Bizet, Schubert's 'Marche Militaire' , and 'Liber-tango' by Piazzolla, as well as some well-known film themes by Ennio Morricone and Ryuichi Sakomoto.

The concert will be in aid of Musical Youth Foundation, which is dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children on the island of Ireland by providing opportunities for them to succeed and excel through the proven power of music education.
