The Drawbridge Podcast Launch Exhibition featuring drawings by Robyn Deasy, Electra Grant, Ciara Rodgers and Anne-May Tabb.

Drawbridge - the drawing research hub based in MTU Crawford College of Art & Design - is pleased to announce that we will be releasing 'The Drawbridge Podcast' on Thursday 2nd November 2023 (available on Spotify, and other podcast sites soon). In the first three episodes of our podcast, we have invited guest artists to talk about contemporary drawing, and how drawing processes fit within their own studio practice. The aim of the podcast is to inform, inspire and explore drawing as an expanded field of research, while also being a valuable and accessible source of informal, conversational content for MTU students, lecturers, researchers and the wider public.

We are celebrating the podcast by launching the series with a group exhibition, featuring the work of our first three guest artists, MTU CCAD graduates Robyn Deasy, Electra Grant and Ciara Rodgers, who have all gone on to postgraduate study within drawing related fields, along with podcast host and Drawbridge Research Assistant Anne-May Tabb. We would be delighted if you could make it to the opening night of Thursday 2nd November 2023 at 6pm, where we will be joined by Dr Niall Smith, MTU Head of Research, to say a few words to open the exhibition.
