About the Project:
CABR provided artists from Tralee Art Group with images and descriptions from scientific research. Artists used these materials as inspiration to create original paintings, transforming scientific imagery into works of visual art.
Caitriona Foley, Tralee Art Group Chairperson, is leading the collaboration between the group and CABR and said that members were delighted to be given the opportunity to collaborate on such a unique project.
"This has pushed many of us to think outside of our comfort zone and get insights into the incredible research that the Centre for Applied Bioscience Research (CABR) is doing."
- Caitriona Foley, Tralee Art Group Chairperson
"We are delighted to collaborate with Tralee Art Group on this project to represent our research work in the form of artwork, and we are grateful to MTU Arts Office for their support for the project."
