Art(ist)FILM is a unique programme dedicated to showcasing 
student and recent graduate artist moving image works in a theatrical screening setting. This 2025 edition has been curated by Dervla Baker and Aoife Claffey, both PhD candidates at MTU. The works in this selection are by students and recent graduates of full-time programmes at MTU, NCAD and IADT.

MTU on Screen Showcase at 1pm

Rory Gallagher Theatre, MTU Bishopstown Campus, Cork.

 

A highlight programme showcasing moving image works by students and recent graduates of MTU Cork and MTU Kerry. Presented by MTU, supported by MTU Teaching & Learning Unit and MTU Arts Office.

Courses represented include: Animation, Visual Effects and Motion Design (AVEMD); Creative Digital Media (CDM), Fine Art (FA). Students at MTU Cork School of Music are collaborators in some of these works. The MTU on Screen project aims to develop and support creative collaboration between students and graduates in these areas of study and professional practice.
