Cork City and Leitrim County Arts Offices invite you to the Cork city launch of SocialPracticeToolkit.com
SocialPracticeToolkit.com serves as a comprehensive guide and support platform for artists, cultural workers, and community organizers dedicated to fostering social change and equity through creative practice. There will be light lunch and refreshments at the launch of this resource which will be addressed by Lord Mayor of Cork City, Councillor Dan Boyle and guest speakers. All are welcome.
The launch will be preceded by an introductory workshop to the toolkit at 11am facilitated by Siobhán Clancy, Assistant Arts Officer – Community Arts at Cork City Council. The workshop will have appeal to those new to community and socially engaged arts as well as those with more experience. It will be very relevant to those interested in the Creative Communities Funding Scheme and Artist and the Community Awards supported by Cork City Councils. All materials will be provided. While no booking is required to attend the launch, places on this workshop beforehand are limited so booking is advisably by 22nd January by following this Eventbrite link.
