ABOUT Cork Film Archive
The Cork Film Archive is a voluntary orgainisation formed in 2007 to digitally archive Film from the Cork Region.
We are currently digitising films of the last 30 years of Cork Youth Film Festival.
Also in our collection are many more older films of Cork City and County in particular
The Mitchell & Kenyon Collection showing Cork at the beginning of the 20th. Century.
ADD YOUR FILMS TO THE ARCHIVE
We are always looking for amateur film taken around Cork City & County. This can be interesting in regards to documenting landscape and cityscape changes. So if you have any film to donate, be it 8mm, super 8, 16mm etc., no matter if you think it is revelant or not please contact us. We will digitise it or archive it safely and give you a digital DVD copy.
