STEAM Competition Exhibition

The awards ceremony will be held on the 10th of April, with an opening address at 10:30 by MTU President Professor Maggie Cusack and we would be delighted to have you join us to celebrate and acknowledge the commitment and hard work of the students who took the time to engage with the project.

The STEAM Comp is a collaboration between MTU Traveller Education Team, MTU Science for Life Officer, MTU Arts Office and the Cork Traveller Interagency Group. It engages with Traveller students in MTU Linked Schools across Cork city and county, supporting them to research and create artworks responding to STEAM ideas and resources. This exhibition presents a vibrant and diverse range of artworks created through the project.

The initiative combines Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics in a way that encourages creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking of the participants.
