    Prof. Xiao Wei Zhuang is professor of glass at the Fine Art at the University of Shanghai. He runs the Glass studio MA programme and is also opening a new Glass Museum in Shanghai next year. Cork City is twinned with Shanghai, and CIT Crawford College of Art & Design (CCAD) hopes to build on that relationship to develop links with artists, craftspersons and academics in Shanghai. There will be a reciprocal opportunity to showcase Irish craft at the Glass Museum in Shanghai. This venue is currently being built and will open in March 2011.  Prof.
