A live broadcast from our Curtis Auditorium in partnership with Cork International Film Festival, celebrating 70th birthday.

MTU CSM BA in Musical Theatre students will be the main feature on tomorrow's Movies and Musicals programme with Aedín Gormley on RTÉ lyric fm from 1-4pm. This is a live broadcast from our Curtis Auditorium in partnership with Cork International Film Festival, celebrating their 70th birthday.

Listeners will be treated to a choir of 85 musical theatre students performing upwards of 20 musical numbers as part of the 3 hour show. Featuring some incredibly talented soloists with support of musicians from the BA in Popular Music and BMus programmes.

We need to take a moment to celebrate lecturer David Hayes who has led this project and who you will also hear accompanying students on piano tomorrow. Another huge thank you to our musical theatre staff for their support this week in pulling the project together.
